We had a great time this past weekend meeting some friendly neighborhood zombies at the Portland Zombie Walk. Zombie cosplayers, enthusiasts, and just plain quirky Portlandians gathered together at Hollywood Vintage on Saturday, October 25th for a windy, rainy, apocalyptic stroll through southeast Portland.
We are very much looking forward to being more involved in future events with our newfound associates. Many zombies and ghouls were intrigued and enthused by our upcycled apocalypse bow Kate sported. We came equipped with kevlar vests, gasmasks, apocalypse bows, and our sustainably built arrows – which have a variety of arrowheads from points pressure-flaked from glass beer and coke bottles, antler and bone, and even knives. We have a few more tricks up our sleeves for some awesome sustainable arrowheads so stay tuned to see what’s to come.
